Cursive Writing
πChildren write in cursive and focus on several things. The sensation of writing, and the formation of the letters. It is possible to force the brain to focus on several things at once. Haptic learning involves the interactions of brain function, hand movements, and touch. Children who know how to write in cursive are more likely to benefit from other aspects of learning. Children who practice cursive writing score better on reading and spelling tests.
