You can count by twos.  Adding 2 to the previous number is possible. You have to count and skip every other number. If you started with 0 and counted by twos, the numbers that you would count would be:  0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, and so on. All of the counts are the same. If you started with 1 and counted by twos, the numbers that you would count would be:  1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31 and so on. All of the counts are odd numbers.
