Math: Counting by 2's

You can count by twos.

 Adding 2 to the previous number is possible.

You have to count and skip every other number.

If you started with 0 and counted by twos, the numbers that you would count would be:

 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, and so on.

All of the counts are the same.

If you started with 1 and counted by twos, the numbers that you would count would be:

 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31 and so on.

All of the counts are odd numbers.

Department of Education prohibits social media interactions between teachers and students

 

 In order to promote professionalism in the delivery of basic education programs, the Department of Education has released an order with instructions to avoid relationships and social media interactions with learners outside the school setting.

In DepEd Order 47 s 2022, the Department wants to promote effective and efficient policies and programs. To realize this, DepEd should be free from any partisan activities. As such, this Office reminds the officials and employees to practice the highest form of professionalism.

“Refrain from engaging in any activity or relationship that may impair one’s ability to make objective decisions in the performance of his/her job functions. Avoid relationships, interaction, and communication, including following social media with learners outside the school setting, except if they are relatives.

Acceptable Norms of Conduct for DepEd Employees including Teachers

In defining acceptable norms of conduct and relationships in DepEd, officials and employees are reminded of the provisions of Republic Act No. 6713, otherwise known as the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, in line with this, DepEd officials and employees are expected to observe the following:

a. Treat and approach DepEd colleagues, employees, learners, and stakeholders with the highest degree of professionalism, skill, and excellence.

b. Respect the rights of others and refrain from doing any act that is contrary to law, good morals, good customs, public policy, public order, public safety, and public interest.

c. Serve and perform one’s duties and responsibilities in a prompt, courteous, and fair manner.

d. Refrain from engaging in any activity or relationship that may impair one’s ability to make objective decisions in the performance of his/her job functions.

e. Avoid relationships, interaction, and communication, including following social media with learners outside of the school setting, except if they are relatives.

Desist from any act that may compromise one’s integrity as a government employee and that may compromise the honor of the DepEd.

 Bilangin ang prutas.

Iláng pangkat ng prutas mayroon si Dan? 

Si Dan ay may anim (6) na pangkat ng prutas.

Mayroong tatlong (3) prutas sa bawat pangkat. Ilan lahat ang prutas?

Isulat nang paulit-ulit na pagdaragdag (repeated addition).

Isulat ng pamilang na pagpaparami (multiplication Sentence). 

 9 x 8 = 72 

Sagot: Si Mel ay bumili ng 72 na doughnut.

Daily Lesson Log (DLL) is a template teachers use to log parts of their daily lessons. The DLL covers a day's or a week's worth of lessons and contains the following features: Objectives, Content, Learning Resources, Procedures, Remarks, and Reflection.

 Preparing for lessons through the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) or Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) provides teachers with an opportunity for reflection on what learners need to learn, how learners learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. These guidelines also aim to empower teachers to carry out quality instruction that recognizes the diversity of learners inside the classroom, is committed to learners’ success, allows the use of varied instructional and formative assessment strategies including the use of information and communications technologies (ICTs), and enables the teacher to guide, mentor, and support learners in developing and assessing their learning across the curriculum.
